The Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT) accredits recreation, park resources and leisure companies curricula. Our division presents the only educational program accredited by COAPRT in Southern California. The Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies prepares college students to advertise a broader and deeper understanding of the position of leisure and recreation within the lives of all people and to enhance the standard of experiences out there to every individual.
